Selection Process for BPCL Recruitment through GATE 2018

How to Fill Application Form for BPCL Recruitment through GATE 2018
The BPCL Recruitment 2018 application form will be available in online mode from the January 5, 2018. The candidates will have to fill all of the required information and submit the application form tentatively by February 2, 2018.

After the successful submission of the application form of BPCL recruitment through GATE 2018, a unique application number will be generated. The PDF format of the filled application form will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates. The filled application form has to be printed out, signed and a photograph of the candidate has to be affixed. The photograph has to be similar to the one uploaded. This form has to be submitted by the candidates if they are shortlisted for the interview.
What Happens After Selection?
After successfully completing the selection process, the candidates will have go through the following process for at the BPCL:
Probation and Training: The candidates will be selected as “Management Trainee” placed in Job Group “A”. The total probation period for the candidates will be one year which can also be extended if the performance is non-satisfactory.
Post-Probation: Those candidates who complete their probation period successfully will be placed as an “Executive” in their respective business unit/entity.
Job Posting: According to the company, the candidates will be posted to any of the BPCL offices across the country.
Work Profile: The candidates will be provided their work profile. Posts in Operations, Process, Sales and Engineering at refineries may be provided. Those candidates who are posted in Operations will be required to work in shifts.
Salary Details of BPCL Recruitment through GATE 2018
Basic salary of Rs. 24,900 is paid to the selected candidates. The pay scale for the candidates ranges from Rs. 24,900 to Rs. 50,500 along with Dearness Allowance (DA) based on IDA pattern. Depending on the posted city, the candidates will also be paid house rent assistance.
Cost to Company: Effective from January 1, 2017, Rs. 10.5 lakh per annum is the Cost to Company (CTC). This will include 50% of the basic pay as perks and allowances along with the performance related pay. It is also inclusive of 30% of basic plus DA as superannuation benefits (Provident fund, Gratuity and New Pension Scheme). Other payable requisites include housing/ vehicle loan facility, group savings linked insurance scheme and more.
