DRDO Recruitment through GATE
The recruitment of Scientists ‘B’ in the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will be based on valid GATE scores and an interview. The application forms of the DRDO recruitment through GATE is available now. Candidates must have qualified in GATE and have valid scores of GATE 2015/2016/2017 to be eligible for shortlisting for the DRDO recruitment through GATE. How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment through GATE
Online registration on RAC website (https://rac.gov.in) is mandatory. Candidate have to apply online on RAC website along with relative documents for detail please refer Notification.
Application Fees & Mode of Payment for DRDO Recruitment through GATE
General/OBC candidates are mandatory to pay non‐refundable non‐transferable application fees of Rs.100/‐ (Rs. Hundred only) payable online only. However, there is no application fees for SC/ST /PWD and women candidates.
Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment through GATE
For Subjects/ Disciplines in Part I
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process on the basis of valid GATE score of GATE 2015/2016/2017, in the ratio of 1:5 subject to their availability in order of the discipline wise category wise
merit list.
The GATE paper and the subject of qualifying degree must be related to the Subject/Disciplines against which the candidate is applying.

(*) marked Subjects/Disciplines are those in which Persons with Disabilities (PwD) – Hearing Handicapped (HH) can apply.
Selection Criteria for DRDO Recruitment through GATE
a) For Subjects/ Disciplines in Part I
The ultimate selection of the applicants will be purely on the basis of discipline wise category wise merit of the aggregate of, 80% weight-age to GATE score and 20% weight-age to marks in personal interview.
For consideration for selection, an applicant has to secure minimum qualifying marks of 70% for General candidates and 60% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates in Personal Interview.
b) For Subjects/ Disciplines in Part II
The ultimate selection of the applicants will be purely on the basis of discipline wise category wise merit of marks in personal interview.
For consideration for selection, a candidate has to secure minimum qualifying marks of 70% for General candidates and 60% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates in Personal Interview.
Age Limit DRDO Recruitment through GATE
The upper age limit not exceeding 28 years
Age relaxation: Maximum relaxation in upper age limit will be as under:‐
i) Upto 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates for the posts reserved for them
ii) Upto 03 years in case of OBC(Non-Creamy Layer (NCL)) candidates for the posts reserved for them.
