You should avoid using those big and thick registers. Must be prepared in such a way that you can carry your short notes to many places, like when you visit your house in your vacations or when to go to your examination center, so that they can help you in those extra small brackets of time. - NEAT AS PER YOUR CONVENIENCE

Try to make short notes with more use of points or bullets. Never ever make short notes like stories. Because after doing this consider that you are never going to read them again on your life ever, why? Long technical stories are always boring, forgot your engineering books.You must keep some necessary things in mind like-- Use of bullets as required
- Use differ number scheme e.g. 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, etc.
- Highlight the Main Heading
- Can also Highlight Sub-Heading with Different Color
- Bold or underline Important Words or Keywords.
- WRITE WHAT YOU FORGET THE MOST & MAKE THEM EDITABLE
Another major Hint, when preparing the short note you must write those things which you tend to forget the most. Always Do Highlight it. So that when you came across that part then next time then you remember that you need to revise it again.Also make your Short Notes editable i.e. you should be able to edit them or write some important point which you came across, in them at some point in future. If you do that and you do edit your Short Notes on time in a proper manner then that will definitely be fruitful for you. - DEDICATION
The most important thing in the entire preparation journey is dedication. Actually, Dedication has a major role to play in the process of making short notes. When a student studies for Exam, he/she prepares notes of their subjects, this is common practice.
