NPCIL Recruitment through GATE 2018

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited or NPCIL has released notification on NPCIL recruitment through GATE. NPCIL comes under the Maharatna category. Candidates who have applied for GATE 2018 can fill NPCIL recruitment form but only those candidates who have required cut off score will be allowed to participate in selection process. NPCIL will consider GATE 2018 and 2017 scores for recruitment of Executive Trainees (ET-2018) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Chemical/ Electronics & Communication /Civil Engineering disciplines. NPCIL recruitment through GATE to be done based on the candidates score in GATE 2018 and 2017 and their performance in personal interview.

Application Process:

The NPCIL 2018 recruitment application form can be filled in the online mode only. The application process of NPCIL Recruitment through GATE 2018 is expected to begin from March 27, 2018 onward, ten days after the announcement of GATE result. The application form of NPCIL through GATE 2018 can be filled till June  2018.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Candidates belonging to India can only apply for NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018

Academic Qualifications: Candidates should have completed BE / B. Tech / B. Sc Engineering (4 years duration) / 5 years Integrated M. Tech in any of the engineering disciplines from a recognized University/Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC.

GATE score – Applicants must have a valid GATE 2018/2017 score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.

Pass Percentage: Candidates have to pass their qualifying exam (B.E/B.Tech ) with 60%. Candidates must note that exact percentage of the marks should be mentioned in the application form and no rounding off of marks should be done e.g. 59.99% should not be rounded off to 60%.

Final year students: Candidates who are in the final year of their B.E/B.Tech is also eligible to apply provided they furnish proof of their eligibility and final marks sheet by November 30, 2018.

Age Requirements: NPCIL has set specific age limits for different categories. Below are the age requirements to be eligible for NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018

Note: In case applicant is eligible for age relaxation in more than one category, the age relaxation will be cumulative. There is no age limit for employees serving in NPCIL who otherwise fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria of NPCIL recruitment through GATE 2018
