It has been observed that during our various recruitment exercises a number of unscrupulous elements masquerading as the real ONGC are creating websites similar to ONGC’s or publishing recruitment advertisements similar to ONGC’s with the intent to defraud gullible candidates. Such fraudulent websites/ advertisements are requesting candidates to send/ deposit large amounts in their accounts. All candidates are hereby informed that in its recruitment process, ONGC only charges a maximum amount of Rs 750 depending upon the category of the candidate and the post advertised. ONGC does not charge any amount larger than Rs 750 for any reason whatsoever. Further all of ONGC’s advertisements are also published on ONGC’s official website, ongcindia.com. All desirous candidates are hereby advised to check the authenticity of the advertisements on ONGC’s website ongcindia.com and beware of all other fraudulent websites/ advertisements.
